BATOKA CHIEF (5) is an interesting runner fresh. He won very well on debut over this track and distance, scoring by 2.25 lengths from back in the field and looking every bit a Saturday class of horse. He's since spelled for eight months but has jumped out well enough and with any natural improvement he might just have these covered for talent. WASCALY (1) put in a much better effort behind a smart horse in Dream All Day at Flemington last time out. He'll be hard to hold out from a wide draw. THE JESTER'S SON (4) is a consistent type who has been about the mark in three runs this time in. Shinn going on from a good draw is a big positive. ECLIPSION (9) is racing well, winning his maiden easily two back and solid again last time. In the mix.
