SCENIC POINT (6) started favourite and gave backers little cause for concern on debut at Pakenham on 20 March, letting down impressively at the end of 1100m to win with plenty up the sleeve. Only needs to show a little natural improvement to be winning again. ALEPPO PINE (1) has tackled better races in his two runs this prep and hasn't quite measured up, most recently in the Todman at Randwick when beaten 2.2 lengths by Tentyris. Bolted in on debut over this trip at Ballarat in December. Can bounce back. MEDNYI (2) is back home after contesting three races in NSW this prep, the pick of them a last start third over today's journey at the Kensington circuit. In contention with a repeat of that effort. FACILITATE (3) has showed some talent in his two runs to date and the addition of blinkers here might add a length or two. BOA VISTA (7) was disappointing on debut in the Group 3 Chairmans back on 1 February. Worth another chance - each-way claims.
